The official trailer for the horror movie Pagpag: Siyam Na Buhay is now out. The film which stars teen actors Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo in the lead cast will start showing on December 25, 2013 as part of the Metro Manila Film Festival. Directed by Frasco Mortiz, Pagpag is one of the eight official entries in the said festival.

The film is a co-production by Skylight Films, Regal Films and Star Cinema. Watch the trailer below:


Produced with an estimated budget of 20 million pesos, Pagpag tackles the Filipino superstition of the 'pagpag'. This refers to the belief that if you've just come from a wake/funeral, you need to shake off curses or evil spirits before you return to your home.
The cast also include Shaina Magdayao, Paulo Avelino, Matet de Leon, Janus Del Prado, Miles Ocampo, Clarence Delgado, CJ Navato, Michelle Vito, Dominic Roque, Dominic Ochoa, Eric Froilan Nicolas, Marvin Yap, Enchong Dee, and Empress Schuck.
