Not sure if you’re spending too much? Not saving enough? There is a simple formula that can help you get (and keep) your budget on the right track. It’s called the 50-30-20 budget and here’s how it works:
- The first step to creating a 50-30-20 budget is to allocate 50 percent of your monthly income to your must have items in life. These needs include housing, clothing, medical care, food and water. (Clothing does not mean the hottest new trend in fashion, merely a basic wardrobe.)
- The 30 percent portion of your income can be used toward the things that you want, like a gym membership, cable television or eating out.
- Finally, the remaining 20 percent of your income should be put first toward debt, then when that is paid off, begin putting this amount into an interest-bearing savings account.

No homes were harmed in this post, although some feelings may have been. I still stand amazed about real estate photos. To get a new listing on the market, the photo taking takes me the longest. On an average size home I will take more than 75 photos. I think it’s always important to update the home’s photosas the seasons change. Keep your home’s photos fresh and inviting! In the digital age of real estate it’s your home’s ‘first impression.’
There following Lousy Listing Photos were found today on the MLS of a name-less city in the south:
This front view made it through winter and summer…hmmm wonder how long it’s been on the market?

Got fish anyone?

You can go up..you can go down…but make up your mind!

Are we highlighting the door or the big screen TV here?

This photo says…STOP…FIRE…BUSY CORNER, but I don’t think it says buy me!

Always demand not just good listing photos, but ones that stand out and stand out for the right reasons!
