Manny Pacquiao Movie List

Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao is most well-known as the pugilist who toppled boxing greats like Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, Oscar dela Hoya, Antonio Margarito, Ricky Hatton and a few others. He is considered to be one of the best boxers to ever put on a pair of boxing gloves. Some say he deserves to be up there amongst the likes of Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Sugar Ray Robinson, Mike Tyson, Marvin Hagler, Ronald Hearns, etc. Unknown to most people, Pacquiao is also a politician, a television host and an actor back in his hometown in the Philippines.

There are three movies wherein the lead roles include a character played by Manny Pacquiao. Movie director Tony Bernal helmed Pacquiao's first film as a leading man in 2005's Lisensyadong Kamao, a boxing film. In this movie, Pacquiao is joined by Eddie Garcia, Aubrey Miles, Juliana Palermo, Daria Ramirez and Ramon Zamora.

Pacquiao next starred in 2008's Anak ng Kumander which was a war movie directed by Jose Balagtas. Pacquiao's leading lady in the film was Ara Mina. The cast included Dan Alvaro, Alvin Anson, Jose Balagtas, Valerie Concepcion, Efren Reyes Jr. and Dante Rivero.

The third Manny Pacquiao movie is 2009's Wapakman. This is a superhero film helmed by director Topel Lee. The movie was entered into the 2009 Metro Manila Film Festival. The film also starred Rufa Mae Quinto, Bianca King, Krista Ranillo, Keanna Reeves, Barbie Forteza, Polo Ravales, Benjie Paras and Onyok Velasco.

Besides the three major Manny Pacquiao movies mentioned above, the Pacman has also appeared as an extra in several productions namely Mahal Kita, Kahit Sino Ka Pa (2001), Di Ko Kayang Tanggapin (2000), Basagan ng Mukha (2001), and Brown Soup Thing (2008).
