Watch: ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID 2013

The theme song for ABS-CBN's Christmas 2013 station ID is called Magkasama Tayo sa Kwento ng Pasko and you can watch the recording sessions below featuring Lea Salonga, Bamboo Manalac, Sarah Geronimo and company. The song features lyrics written by Robert Labayen. The music was arranged by Jumbo Bojam De Belen with additional music arrangement by Thyro Alfaro.

Vocal arrangement for the song are by Jumbo De Belen, Jeli Mateo and Thyro Alfaro. It was also mixed and mastered by De Belen and Daryl Ronald Rendell Barbaso. The video of the recording sessions was uploaded on YouTube on October 24, 2013.

The first lines of the song goes: "Bawat Pasko'y may dalang himala. Malakas mang ulan, ito'y titila. Bubuhos and pagpapala. May kapiling ang nangungulila. Ano mang lungkot, tayo'y aahon. May lunas sa sugat ng kahapon. Sa isa't isa'y mayro'ong paglingap. Mga pangarap ngayo'y magaganap."

The video shows all judges from the ABS-CBN reality show The Voice of the Philippines (Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo Manalac) with the exception of apl.de.ap of the Black Eyed Peas. Also lending their voices for the song are The Voice of the Philippines finalists Myk Perez, Mitoy Yonting, Janice Javier and Klarisse de Guzman.

The video was directed by Melo Saliendra and Peewee Gonzales.

The Voice Philippines

ABS-CBN will soon start airing the Philippine edition of the popular singing competition show called The Voice. According to reports, the Philippine edition of the show will premiere come December of 2012.


The Voice is a show that originated from the Netherlands. Created by Dutch TV producer John de Mol, the show was called The Voice of Holland back then. The U.S. created their own show called The Voice based on the original from the Netherlands. The American edition is currently on it's second season. It still has Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine as judges/coaches.

The Voice Philippines will be hosted by Toni Gonzaga with Sam Concepcion and Yeng Constantino as co-hosts. The judges and coaches will be Sarah Geronimo, Christian Bautista, Billy Crawford and Arnel Pineda.
